Old forum posts have been moved

The forum posts from the old phpBB forum have been successfully moved to the new forum. Some members may have to change their password again.

Forum problems fixed

The forum problems appear to be fixed. Members should be able to log in successfully, and view the forums will no problem. If you do witness a problem, please contact the staff on the forum via PM or you can make a comment in this post.

Problems with the new forum

There are currently some problems with the new forum, including members not being able to post and reply to topics, and login problems.

The admin is currently working on fixing it as soon as possible, he is having problems logging in but he is able to access his control panel and will try to fix the problems as soon as possible.

He may have to delete all user accounts, if so, anyone who was registered already will have to re-register. He hopes to fix everything sometime Tomorrow.

More information will be given when he fixes the problems.

New forum

RobertCity.com has moved to another forum.

Website finished

The template is 99% finished. We are currently working on the way we will present the website, then soon after the decision, we will updated RobertCity.com.

RobertCity.com

RobertCity.com is officially be a personal website. Webmaster's Resource will be the new official website with webmaster resource information.

These two websites should be up by the end of this year.

RobertCity.com homepage added

A note has been added to the RobertCity.com homepage.

Layout in the works

The new layout is almost finished being designed and will get coded into RobertCity.com within this week sometime. The 'error pages' that everyone has viewed when trying to access robertcity.com will change to the new layout, then the website will be made.

New website layout

A new website layout has been designed and is currently being coded. Once we successfully complete the new layout, we plan on replacing the error pages with the new template. Once we've done so, we'll start working on making the website.

This should all take about a month or so.

Paused for a moment

RobertCity.com's future plans are paused for a few weeks while Robert gets working on a few personal assignments. By December, things should be rising up again, and RobertCity.com should be starting to make games and website systems again.

Christian RPG Series

I am working on a PC game that has been requested by many people. Apparently, Christian families limit their children to the types of activities that they can do on Sundays. When it comes to PC games, most parents don't have any that promote Christian gospels and encourage scriptural references and reading to children. And because of the horrible games these days, I had the hint to create a Christian game.

So I've created a series called 'Christian RPG', and have copyrighted it under RobertCity.com, and now am working on the 'New Testament' version of the bible in the game.

I am also working on a second more fun-to-do-when-bored game called 'Maze Quest', which will contain themed levels full of traps, power ups, and other exciting adventures. The themes will include a snowy theme, a castle theme, and even a futuristic theme.

So right now I am working on these two games, and hope to be able to make enough money to purchase a laptop around next year summer/fall.

RobertCity.com back up to speed

RobertCity.com's loading problem has been solved.

RobertCity.com domain not loading

It appears that the RobertCity.com domain is not loading up. We are trying to resolve this issue, the hosting website isn't loading up either, so we believe that it possibly could be on the host's side of the problem instead of our side. Once the issue is figured out we will announce it here.

For those curious as to why the blog loads up, it's because Google Blogger hosts the blog, we just happen to use a domain off of RobertCity.com that allows the blog to have it's own custom domain.

Well, I'm deciding whether to have RobertCity.com be webmaster's resource website, or my own game maker website... once I decide, then the design will be must easier.

Webmaster's Resource

I am almost finished setting up my new website. It isn't a 'business' as much as a place to learn and discuss computer related topics, debate, and more.

Blog updated

We have updated the blog url to http://blog.robertcity.com.

RobertCity.com: Webmaster's Resources

Because of some issues with the host, I am going to change the purpose of my website and business.

I won't be giving away free message forums, blogs, website, photo galleries, email addresses, ect.

I will be making pc computer games. Currently there are two games that I am working on.

RobertCity.com v3 will be renamed to RobertCity.com: Webmaster's Resources. I will have articles about how to code in HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, how to work with GIMP, Paint, my reviews on pc games such as RollerCoaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, future releases, ect. I will discuss information about browsers such as Opera, Sarfari, FireFox, Netscape, Internet Explorer, ect. I will talk about windows, mac, linux, ect.

I hope anyone that may be following my footsteps or following my path is okay with these changes.

I plan on completing the change by the end of this week.

Message Forum Change

The first part of the release of version 3 is here!

The first part is one of the surprises, a new message forum! Yes, the fourth one that I have made so far, will probably and hopefully be the last one I make for a long time. It is run under phpBB, with soon to be more skins and templates to choose from.

I play on saving any important posts on the old one to the new one, then I will proceed to delete the old one, and change the url to the new one to http://support.robertcity.com.

Please be aware that most links (archive, blog, support, ect.) will be at the beginning, (page.robertcity.com) instead of at the end (robertcity.com/page) to make things neater.

I hope everyone will enjoy the new forum system and will be able to help start a better community today.

Updates on Blog

This blog will soon have a sub-domain setup to it. Until then, please try to ignore the .blogspot.com url. I will try to fix the mess as soon as possible.

I have now learned to make full backups of the posts of my blogs, not just the databases, tables, and templates.

Update to below post

Well, sadly I was unable to properly backup the posts from my previous blog. So I am stuck with Blogger. Good thing I can setup a custom domain for this, too bad I lost all of my previous posts.

Anyway, to try to get things back on topic, Version 3, like I said, is 99.9% done. I just need to finish a few more pages, and then by next week it will be released.

Backup blog

Sigh... my other blog, http://robertcity.com/blog, has been corrupt, so I am unable to do much but attempt to give it some backups. I am currently trying to backup the blog with another blog I host from the same service, but if that doesn't work, then this may be the next option I will choose.

Of course I've learned my lesson, make a backup every week.
